Saint Alok Original oil painting

This is my masterpiece painting, inspired by the incredible artist Alok Vaid Menon and created thanks to their permission. This piece was a 15 month undertaking, needing to teach myself gold guilding in the process. 24k gold leaf makes up the bright halos, the frame is a custom piece with inlaid antique Pakistani wood, made especially for this piece over 8 months. This piece won top 50 traditional art award from Beautiful Bizzare Magazine's Art prize 2022 - it was an honor to be a finalist among 80,000 entries world wide.
